Apple River Canyon State Park
Apple River Canyon State Park is located in a scenic canyon created by the Apple River, which winds its way through the 296 acre site. The park includes the National Historic Registry site of Millville, a town destroyed by a flash flood in 1892. The Grand Illinois Trail passes through the park.
